The Green Cabana Apartment is a delightful colorful indoor/outdoor one bedroom apartment on the second floor of El Zapato. The living room opens onto an equally large outdoor living space with a spectacular view of the mountians and the house. With a well equipped gourmet kitchen and colorful whimsical decor living downtown could not be better! Downstairs are three additonal bedrooms and a bath off the central courtyard. 

The Space

The apartment is one bedroom (queen) and full bath, designed by Jeff Shelton. It a feels like Dr Seuss meets Gaudi- it will make you smile and is walking distance to almost everything- leave your car and never drive while you visit. It is entered from the front door of the building and up the inside unique staircase, This staircase is shared with the owner's unit, 'The Turquoise Penthouse' on the third floor. The Lobster Studios three bedrooms and one bath  (which come with the rental) are reached either through the courtyard outdoor gate on the right of the home or by coming down the stairs from the Green Cabana and walking through the front hallway to the courtyard. 

Guest access

You will have access to the apartment and private second floor deck and garage (and likely the rooftop for cocktails if the owner is there!). Also included are two more bedrooms on the first floor off the courtyard - the Lobster Studios - One has twin beds and one a queen bed and they share a large bathroom. The first floor Lobster Studios each have a sink in them as well. You have full access to the large open couryard as well. Plenty of room for bikes and gear in garage if you plan on bringing things. 

Interaction with guests

I am visiting El Zapato in the winter and in the summer the house in managed by Diane and my delightful property manager and Turnkey Management. 

Other things to note

Downstairs the two "Lobster Studio" bedrooms and one bath are accessed from the courtyard and they share a bath accessed from the courtyard. Make sure to take the virtual tour on the website to understand the layont. It affords much privacy for anyone renting the Green Cabana and Lobster Studios as the bedrooms are all separated.
